Prices depend on the season. Summer season (24.06–01.09): 600 zł/dobę (przy min. 4 dobach cena zniżkowa 500 zł/dobę). Off-season (01.09–24.06): 400 zł/dobę w środku tygodnia, 600 zł/dobę w weekend (możliwość doliczenia piątku/poniedziałku +400 zł). Minimalny czas wynajmu: lato min. 3 doby, poza sezonem min. 2 doby.

Which cottages are available and how many people do they accommodate?

There are two year-round cottages to choose from: "Czapla" and "Żuraw". Both cottages have 6 sleeping places (2 on the ground floor and 4 on the mezzanine). Ideal for a family or a group of friends.

What is in the kitchen and what appliances are there?

The kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, oven, induction hob, set of dishes, fridge with freezer, coffee machine. There are also basic kitchen accessories.

Is there heating and air conditioning in the cottages?

Yes — both cottages are year-round, equipped with air conditioning and a stylish stove/fireplace, which provides comfort both in summer and winter.

Are bedding, towels and a hairdryer provided?

Yes — each cottage provides a set of bedding and towels and a hairdryer.

Yes — each cottage has fast internet (5G) with an independent Wi‑Fi router and a Smart TV.

Where can I find cutlery and additional kitchen equipment?

The cutlery is in the drawer under the coffee machine — after opening the large drawer pull out the smaller drawer inside. The remaining kitchen equipment is standardly prepared in the cupboards.

Is there parking on the property and is the area fenced?

Yes — a large, paved parking area is located on the fenced premises of Ptasie Siedlisko. The area is monitored, and the fence with a base provides privacy and security.

Is there a place for a bonfire and a grill?

Yes — on the grounds there is a bonfire pit with a grill and benches, ideal for family evenings by the fire.

How large is the terrace and are there sunbeds/garden furniture?

Each cottage has a spacious terrace of about 30 m² with seating for 6–7 people and a large table. Additionally, there is a terrace chair and sunbeds available.

Is there a playground and sports fields for children?

There are two sports fields on the property and a playground for children — the playground is under construction, but the fields and some attractions are already available.

Can you help organize on-site activities?

Yes — the hosts help organize kayak trips, equipment rental and fishing trips. Bicycles, a pontoon and kayaks are also available on site (free for guests, after prior arrangement).

Can I come with a dog or another pet?

Yes — Ptasie Siedlisko is pet-friendly. You can come with your pet, and we do not charge a fee for the animal's stay. The area is fenced, which makes it easier to relax with a pet.

Are there any rules regarding pet behavior?

We ask that pets be supervised, do not damage the equipment and do not disturb the peace of other guests. If in doubt, contact us before arrival — we will arrange the details.

Do you organize special events such as bachelor/bachelorette parties?

No — we do not organize bachelor or bachelorette parties. We take care to maintain the peace and quiet of guests and local residents.

Is the area safe for children and animals?

Yes — the property is fenced and well secured. We also have benches, a bonfire pit and playgrounds (partially under construction), and the hosts will gladly advise on safe places for play and swimming.

What attractions are in the immediate area?

The area is rich in attractions: Gród Foluszek (theme park on Lake Popek), historical sites of Brodnica (remains of the Teutonic Castle, a tower, the market square), Kurza Góra (observation tower, ski slope, downhill trails), castles and palaces in Golubiu‑Dobrzyń and Radzyniu Chełmońskim as well as numerous nature reserves.

Can I swim, fish and practice water sports?

Yes — the Brodnica Lake District has hundreds of lakes and canals. On site we will help organize fishing, rent a pontoon or kayaks. There are also boat ramps and marinas in the area.

How far is the nearest lake from the cottages?

Lake Sosno is about an 800 m walk through the forest — it's a pleasant, wooded stretch leading directly to the beach.

Where to eat nearby and can I order fresh bread?

We recommend local places: Jezioranka restaurant (a few minutes by car), fish fryers in Grzmięca (Smażalnia U Natalii, Skarlanka). For guests' convenience, daily delivery of fresh bread from a local bakery is also available — we will provide contact on request.

Is the area good for families with children?

Yes — there are sports fields on the property and a playground (under construction), nearby beaches and bathing spots, Gród Foluszek with attractions for children, and walking and cycling routes suitable for families.

Where do the cycling trails start and which routes are recommended?

All described cycling routes start from Ptasie Siedlisko (Sumówko). Recommended routes: "Dwie Wieże" (~40 km), around lakes Strażym and Bachotek (~40 km), to Gród Foluszek (15–20 km), around lakes Niskie and Wysokie Brodno, and a scenic route through lakes Sosno, Mieliwo and Ciche (~25 km).

What is the surface type and are the routes difficult?

The routes are a mix of asphalt, dirt roads and forest gravel tracks. Some sections may be demanding (inclines, narrow riverside paths). To be safe, it's worth having a reliable mountain or gravel bike and navigation.

Do you have tips for cyclists?

We recommend bringing navigation or a local map, as some routes are outside official maps. You can divide longer routes (e.g. "Dwie Wieże") into shorter rides. Remember to bring water supplies, tools and a basic first-aid kit.

Can bikes be rented on site?

Bikes are available for guests on site — please arrange your needs in advance when booking so we can prepare the equipment.

What places are worth visiting during a bike tour?

Worth seeing are the observation towers above lakes Wądzyń and Chojno, the peninsula with a restaurant by Wądzyń, Gród Foluszek on Lake Popek, the Retno, Okonek and Stręszek reserves, and also bunkers and historical remnants along the routes.

„Żuraw” is a masculine fascination with the loft in a miniature form. A combination of natural materials – wood and stone – with those created by humans: steel and glass, seasoned with black and graphite finishes.

The year-round cottage is located on fenced grounds in the Brodnica Landscape Park (Sumówko, Zbiczno municipality), offering comfortable relaxation throughout the year. It has a spacious 30-meter terrace with seating for 6–7 people and a large table. Equipped with internet, Wi-Fi and smart TV.

„Żuraw” offers 6 sleeping places – two on the ground floor and four on the mezzanine. The interior is air-conditioned, and can additionally be warmed with a stylish stove-fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, induction hob and a full set of dishes. The cottage also has a washing machine, an extra chair for the terrace and sun loungers. We provide bed linen and towels.

On the fenced grounds there are parking spaces and a fire pit for bonfires with a grill and benches. Pet-friendly – you can bring your pet.
